About Fragrant Kitchen

On the other side of the world and desperately craving my Mum's carrot cake I attempted to follow her recipe. It was my first-time baking and I would fail, miserably!

Over the next 15 years I would craft my techniques and learn to successfully make the carrot cake and many other delicious cakes and bakes.

In doing so, as well as fill our home with mouth-watering smells, I would learn numerous techniques and tricks, through a long run of successes and failures.

And now with Fragrant Kitchen I share the same and much-requested carrot cake recipe with you, along with other family and friend favourites.

You too can embark (or expand) on a love of baking and provide joy to you and your loved ones with cakes you’ve handmade from high-quality, natural ingredients.
